Jamyang Khyentse Chokyi Lodro (1896 - 1959) was the most outstanding Tibetan master of this century. Authority on all traditions and holder of all lineages, he was the heart of the "non-partisan" movement in Tibet. Amongst many others he was the teacher of the Dalia Lama and of Sogyal Rinpoche.
